Chief Executive Officer
Cynthia Wiedemann is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fundraising Solutions.
Cynthia graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Government. She began her career with nine years of consulting at Carol Reed Associates, specializing in public relations, marketing strategies, and political consulting. From 1994-1996, she served on the President’s Task Force on Child and Family Welfare, issuing a report to President Clinton in December 1996. From 1998 - 2003, Cynthia served as the second in command at McIntosh Company, Inc., a firm specializing in political fundraising for candidates running for partisan and non-partisan offices on the local, statewide and national level. Cynthia founded Fundraising Solutions in 2004.
In her community, Cynthia has served as Chairperson and Statewide member of the Texas Department of Health and Human Services. She has served as Board Member of The Family Place, Texas Council on Family Violence, and the Austin Center for Battered Women. She currently serves as Board Member and Treasurer of Twelve Step Ministry program.
Julia J. Anthony
Chief Operating Officer
Julia Anthony joined Fundraising Solutions in 2017 and serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Julia’s professional experience includes Deloitte Tax LLP in the Business Tax Services group. Julia is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy.
Julia is an alumna of the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business, where she received both a Masters of Science in Taxation and Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. Julia was in the University Honors Program and was an annual recipient of the Southern Methodist University Rotunda Scholarship and Senator Robert L. Byrd Scholarship. She is involved in her community and has a passion for the arts. She currently sits on the Steering Committee of the Dallas Museum of Art Junior Associates. Julia also serves as a Financial Analyst for the Junior League of Dallas in the Research and Development group.
Marco Nieto rejoined Fundraising Solutions in June of 2017 and serves as a Senior Associate for the company consulting on statewide, judicial, and local campaigns. Marco was born and raised in Dallas and brings several years of experience to the FS team.
Marco began his career as a Junior Associate during the 2013-2014 midterm elections working with a variety of statewide campaigns that include the current Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Railroad Commissioner Ryan Sitton, and Land Commissioner George P. Bush. Upon the conclusion of the 2015 inauguration, Marco transitioned into a corporate role with Citigroup as a Graduate Recruiter and Program Manager in Technology.
Marco graduated from Southern Methodist University and received three distinct degrees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Finance Specialization.
Mary Claire Holmes
Mary Claire hails from Midland, Texas and joined the Fundraising S0lutions team in 2017. Mary Claire attended Baylor University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship. During her time in Waco, she was on the Baylor Equestrian Women's team for three years during college.
Alex brings her experience with Data Management and Supply Chain Management to her role at Fundraising Solutions. Alex attends Southern Methodist University, where she studies Engineering Management Information and Systems major in the Lyle School of Engineering and Mathematics in Dedman College of Humanities and Sciences. While at SMU, she has been very involved in community service. She has served as a project leader for SMU’s largest community service organization Mustang Heroes and served as the Director of Special Events and Outreach for the SMU Dance Marathon, which raised over $30,000 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
